David Pratt

I only got into photography in 2008 after I came back from a city break in London and realised that the part I had enjoyed the most was shooting and looking through all the photos I had taken on my compact camera. I decided it was an interest worth pursuing so started buying magazines and researching what kit I needed. It was a steep learning curve and it's fair to say I have spent a good chunk of pocket money on the hobby. But I am at my happiest and most content when stood ankle deep in the North Sea behind my camera. When I go out, if my boots don't get wet I haven't tried hard enough. More often than not my feet get wet too! But there's no feeling quite like the thrill of "capturing the moment". I hope you enjoy this small selection of my work.
